Big, fat, fluffy flakes were falling at the base yesterday. So glad winter is here.
It sounds like there will be good temps for making snow the next few days. Once they fire up, the mountain is closed. There is probably close to 20" at the top so far. Things are looking like they are on track for a scheduled opening in a few weeks.

Lots of Halloween fun at Alyeska this Saturday AND daylight savings ends, so we get an extra hour to sleep in after all the festivities!
