Welcome back, Lift Crew!

I spent the last 4 days training the 18/19 Lift Ops Crew, and they are such a fun group of people! Looking forward to more snow and plenty of good times.

Saying goodbye to Chair 1

This summer is the end of an era at Alyeska Resort. Since chair 1 hadn't run in 2 years, and was not going to be loading guests or employees anymore, the resort decided to tear down the lift. Many people asked why we would do this, and the truth is that they don't make parts for these kinds of lifts anymore.

Spring Break is Here!

Spring break is here and Lift Ops is ready for the fun!

Winter is here, and the Alyeska Lift Crew couldn't be happier!  We've been training, and the snow has been falling.  

Wednesday, November 25th is Pass Holder day - No day tickets will be sold

Thanksgiving day will be opening day for everyone!  Looking forward to seeing you here!

Lift Accessed Downhill Biking at Alyeska Resort

The downhill biking season is about to begin at Alyeska Resort!  We have trails for all abilities, and lessons & tours are also available. The weather has been great so far this summer, and we're hoping for more of the same. Fri-Sun, noon-6.

Fantastic March at Alyeska Resort!

The Lead lift operators did a ski around a couple of weeks ago, just to make sure everyone is on the same page.

 It was good for the team.

Norman was stoked to run lift 1 for the last night of night operations.

 Super Grover (Shawn) was also on the scene!

 We had an end-of-night ops torchlight parade. It was super fun.

Then we had some serious snow days. On Tuesday, we had about 4 feet of fresh pow AND sunshine!

Lift Ops Training

Lift ops crew was busy getting trained up this past week.

Electricians, Brad and Eric, have been connecting the mountains lights to the towers. The new lights strike significantly faster than the old ones.
