I saw this yearling black bear cub on the road to the vehicle maintenance shop this afternoon.
He (or she) is one of three cubs born last spring. Their mom was hit by a car early last fall and probably didn't make it.
But this one is as healthy as can be, and quite a little trouble maker; last week he broke into the shop, again!
