My friend Jenn drove up from Moab with her daughter for a quick visit. We had the same major, graduated together from Humboldt State in May 1999. She and her husband helped me get a sweet summer job at Kane Gulch ranger station, and again at Alta. If not for Jenn, I doubt I would have ended up skiing and staying in the industry. Friends can change lives in amazing ways.
