Beautiful Evening

The view from the top late this afternoon was unbeatable. (click to enlarge, you can see the city lights in Old Girdwood)
The tram was busy, doing back to back trips after chair 6 closed. Surprising for mid week.

Kevin, from snow safety, was enjoying the sunset as well.
The skiing (groomers) was fast and fun on the way down. I waited until people cleared out of the portal, and had the mountain to myself (until the vons).
Looking at the roundhouse from the top of 1.

Lifties, Ryan & Dennys, manning the base of 7.

You can see some Christmas spirit at the Hotel Alyeska. Santa will be visiting the hotel this Thursday. You can drop off a present for Santa to give to your child at the front desk starting tomorrow. It is from 6-9pm in the Columbia Ballroom, Santa arrives at 7.
Mid-mountain clouds, lights, and sunset.

Sometimes, during snowmaking especially, the mountain lights create ice pillars by reflecting light off the ice crystals.
