Former Lift Crew makes us Proud

I've posted this next link, not just because it has to do with backcountry avalanche conditions, but because both Matt Murphy (Chugach Nat'l Forest Avalanche information center) and Matt Wedeking (Chugach State park, chief ranger) are former lift crew. Wedeking had already moved on to a patrol position by the time I started at Alyeska (7 years ago), but I had the pleasure of working with Murphy at the tram for at least a couple of seasons (before he too moved on the patrol). Nice job guys, thanks for helping to keep the backcountry safe!
