AMAZING DAY!!!

What an awesome day! Started off with 18" fresh at the top and 14" at midway. All outer areas were closed. There were about 100 people waiting for the tram, not that many for how awesome it was. I went up on the third tram and had fresh tracks all the way down. Up chair 6 and more fresh tracks, though not all the way down as there was NO visibility in the bowl, so a lot of tracks down Mighty Mite. About the time I left the tram (12:30ish) patrol opened the North Face, Ragdoll gate down. A little later they opened the Christmas chute gate for an hour or two. By the end of the day, there were 33" fresh at the top AND IT IS STILL SNOWING. Woo-hoo! So along the way the lifties were bumping all those chairs and removing massive amount of snow, so we could all enjoy the mountain. This was the only picture I took today, because, well, there was a lot of work to do. It is my good friend Sadie. We have been neighbors and friends for years. She is also part of our awesome grooming team at Alyeska Resort. We took some fun turns together. Hope to see you tomorrow for more fun on the mountain!
